Why this blog is created...??? Hurrmmm....I'm not realy sure actually, but I think the lecturer wanted us to expose ourselves to blogs. Well u know...in this era of globalization, knowledge is the main reason for us to success...plus i don't want people out there to say something like this to me :

What Is ICT...???

ICT is an acronym that stands for Information Communications Tecnology However, apart from explaining an acronym, there is not a universally accepted defininition of ICT? Why? Because the concepts, methods and applications involved in ICT are constantly evolving on an almost daily basis. Its difficult to keep up with the changes - they happen so fast.
Let us focus on the three words behind ICT:

-INFORMATION
-COMMUNICATIONS
-TECHNOLOGY

A good way to think about ICT is to consider all the uses of digital technology that already exist to help individuals, businesses and organisations use information. ICT covers any product that will store, retrieve, manipulate, transmit or receive information electronically in a digital form. For example, personal computers, digital television, email, robots. So ICT is concerned with the storage, retrieval, manipulation, transmission or receipt of digital data. Importantly, it is also concerned with the way these different uses can work with each other.

ICT Application in Mechatronic Education

Nowadays, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is very helpful in many ways especially in education. Currently, all the colleges and universities have been standardizing to use ICT applications in teaching and practical. Even in primary and secondary schools also have the computer laboratory which is for students to learn and familiarize about computer.

Furthermore, even in secondary schools have been started to use the powerpoint presentation system in teaching and it was general system in education.On the other hands, in higher education institution ICT application cannot be denied during teaching and learning especially engineering. Student can learn more, get practices and also experiences through the ICT practices such as laboratory and workshop. Example for laboratories which are students going through such as Electric Circuit lab, electronics lab, computer programming lab, CAD( computer aided drafting) and others.

In Electric circuit and electronics labs, students need to use the technology equipment such like multimeter or digital meter to measure the voltage, resistance, and current for a complicated connected circuit. Moreover, in computer programming lab, students can try to do their programs by using certain software of programming. With this software student can easily to scan out the errors and also effortless to know the output of that programs
